Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Join a dynamic team responsible for the development of innovative new products and manufacturing processes. This role involves a 3-year contract with the potential to become permanent anytime after one year.
Responsibilities
+ Initiate, justify, and implement new advanced capital equipment purchases.
+ Create cell layouts and lead process improvement initiatives of high complexity.
+ Lead Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plan Reviews.
+ Apply solid concepts of Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) to new product development.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a machining/CNC environment.
+ Strong experience in tooling and CNC.
+ Ability to apply advanced knowledge of capabilities studies and machine capability.
+ Solid understanding of machinery related to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems for equipment specification and capital procurement.
+ Proficient in interpreting product drawings, including GD&T and specification flow down.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BS in Engineering highly preferred.
+ CNC Programming experience is a plus.
+ Experience with turning/milling equipment, Okuma 5 axis mill, Swiss precision machinery, Makino 2-4 axis mills, and Gleason grinding equipment is a plus.
+ Skills in tooling/fixturing design and PLC programming are advantageous.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
