    Job Description:

    Represents and advises in all legal matters for THR hospitals, THPG, or other THR System Services departments, with a specific emphasis on human resources and employment law issues and related claims/litigation. Handles a wide range of other legal responsibilities as assigned. Assists with interpretation and application of State and Federal rules.

     

    Participate as a member and/or attend various committees and/or meetings.

    Education

    Bachelor's Degree Required

     

    And

     

    Experience

    7 Years Legal experience Required

    and

    5 Years Legal experience in specialty area of position Required

     

    Human Resources / Employment law experience Strongly Preferred

     

    Licenses and Certifications

     

    JD - Juris Doctor by State Bar of Texas 6 Months Required

     

    Skills

     

    Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and speaking skills, ability to relate to all levels of personnel within THR as well as medical staff members.
