Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join our collaborative team in Doylestown, PA. This individual will play a key role in the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. You will gain experience in site/civil engineering design for various exciting land development projects in a continuous learning environment.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with the preparation and modification of engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)
+ Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data and their impact on the planning and design of projects
+ Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments
+ Perform other job duties as requested
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
+ EIT certification (PE certification preferred)
+ 3+ years of professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, storm water management, drainage, and soil erosion
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with local, state, and federal land use permitting
+ Experience with report writing and project engineering
+ Knowledge of geology and mapping
Work Environment
We offer a hybrid work environment starting with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, transitioning to 2 days in the office and 3 days from home after a few months. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $123500.00/yr.
