    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    As a General Production Worker, you will be entrusted with performing a diverse range of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies. This includes soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB work, machine crimping, and ribbon cable assembly. You will follow established methods and procedures to ensure tasks are completed according to manufacturing schedules with limited supervision.

    Responsibilities

    + Hand solder wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.

    + Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.

    + Review and complete required production documentation.

    + Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions.

    + Comprehend written and verbal assignments.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general labor, and assembly.

    + Proficiency in soldering and using hand tools.

    + Ability to work with blueprints and electronic assembly processes.

    + Familiarity with cleanroom and surface-mount technology.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Soldering and SMT expertise.

    + Experience in electronic assembly.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a spacious 154,000 square feet temperature-controlled facility alongside over 550 team members. The facility boasts seven SMT lines. Openings are available on the 1st shift: Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $18.70/hr.
