    Job Title: Welder

    Job Description

    This position is for a MIG Welder in a manufacturing company located in South Bend. The role involves welding various components for structures, including floors and side panels, as well as different beams and channels.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform welding on different components such as floors and side panels.

    + Weld different beams like I-beams and channels.

    + Retrieve materials using an overhead crane from the designated location.

    + Follow blueprints to fit materials in the appropriate location.

    + Execute TAC MIG welds to secure materials in place.

    Essential Skills

    + 5 years of experience in MIG welding on steel.

    + Experience with TAC welding on steel.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/16 inch.

    + Must own a weld helmet and steel toe shoes.

    + Capability to pass a basic weld test on a butt-joint weld.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
