    Job Title: Plumber/Pipefitter

    Job Description

    The role involves working in a heavy commercial setting where candidates will need commercial or industrial experience. The position is open to 2nd-year apprentices up to foremen, emphasizing underground skills to rough-in skills. Applicants must have experience with EVC, cast iron, and copper, along with installation skills. Layout experience is highly advantageous. Experience in brazing and soldering is essential, and candidates must be able to read and fully understand blueprints. For pipefitters, mechanical room experience is desired, including equipment connection experience with boilers, chillers, and pumps.

    Responsibilities

    + Install plumbing and piping systems in heavy commercial settings.

    + Utilize underground and rough-in skills effectively.

    + Work with EVC, cast iron, and copper materials.

    + Perform brazing and soldering tasks.

    + Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

    + Connect equipment in mechanical rooms, such as boilers, chillers, and pumps.

    + Bring and manage own hand tools according to experience level.

    + Meet at the jobsite and adhere to orientation schedules.

    + Wear steel-toed boots and other safety gear.

    Essential Skills

    + Commercial or industrial plumbing and pipefitting experience.

    + Experience with EVC, cast iron, and copper.

    + Installation and layout expertise.

    + Proficiency in brazing and soldering.

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Enrolled in an apprenticeship program is a plus.

    + Mechanical room experience with equipment connections.

    + Own hand tools reflective of experience level.

    Work Environment

     

    Work takes place in heavy commercial buildings with a schedule of 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday. There may be opportunities for overtime, including potential work on Saturdays. Candidates will be provided with safety gear if needed.

    This is a Contract position based out of Broomfield, Colorado.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
