    Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    This position involves dual responsibilities, including keeping production lines stocked with materials and loading/unloading trucks for shipping and receiving. As a forklift operator, you will assist throughout the entire plant by transporting formed metal between the roll forming area and the secondary/utility area. You will also load finished materials into the warehouse and onto trucks. Additional duties include bringing materials to work cells, taking bundles from work cells, moving racks, and emptying hoppers.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with setup, loading, and unloading parts from the production line.

    + Utilize computer skills for inventory control and documentation of goods shipped and received.

    + Process paperwork related to shipping and receiving.

    + Use hand tools to unload and load parts.

    + Pack finished goods for shipping.

    + Operate forklift to perform material handling tasks.

    + Perform inventory control tasks such as cycle counts and data entry.

    + Handle bills of lading and work orders.

    Essential Skills

    + Sit-down forklift experience.

    + Industrial or manufacturing experience.

    + Shipping and receiving experience.

    + Proficient computer skills for inventory control and documentation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with RF scanners and inventory control.

    + Ability to operate cranes.

    + Comfortable working in hot and cold environments.

    The work environment is industrial, with manufacturing operations that involve forming metal from flat-rolled steel. The facility primarily serves the agricultural equipment sector, focusing on international harvester tractors.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
