Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

You will be responsible for conducting both in-process and end-of-line inspections based on established criteria for critical components of Boeing aircraft, including the fuselage of the 737 and 787.

Responsibilities

+ Perform inspections to ensure quality control and assurance.

+ Conduct aircraft inspections with a focus on sheet metal components.

+ Adhere to established inspection criteria and standards.

Essential Skills

+ Proven skills in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.

+ Minimum of 2 years of aviation sheet metal or aviation inspection experience.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, military, or manufacturing environments.

+ Experience with aerospace standards and calibrated inspection tools.

+ Proficiency in quality assurance principles, methods, and processes.

+ Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

This position offers an opportunity to advance into trainer, lead, or other roles within the organization. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel to and from work at a rate of $.67/mile, capped at 100 miles round trip.

Work Environment

Join a dynamic team of 80 employees working across three shifts in a 24/7 operation. Candidates are needed for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30 PM – 11 PM) or 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10 PM – 6:30 AM). While weekday overtime is not available, weekend overtime is offered, and it is expected that each individual is open to working at least one weekend day every other week.

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
