    Job Title: Inventory Clerk

    Job Description

    Under moderate supervision, you will be responsible for carrying out basic tasks at multiple customer sites in a region from Carlsbad to Lower San Diego. You will manage customer warehouse inventory, including delivery product replenishment, which requires driving between facilities to deliver products. You will also facilitate orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment and enter orders into computer systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage customer warehouse inventory, including delivery product replenishment.

    + Facilitate orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment and enter orders into computer systems.

    + Receive inbound shipments from UPS, FedEx, and other common carriers.

    + Handle hazardous material and prepare shipping documentation and packaging requirements.

    + Resolve all shipping errors.

    + Perform additional inventory management-related functions such as monitoring slow-moving and dead stock, conducting cycle counting and yearly inventories, and reporting.

    + Conduct shipping coordination activities, including shipping customer material, answering customer calls, handling routine issues, and maintaining inspections on safety stations and equipment.

    + Interface directly with customer points of contact to manage consigned, non-consigned, customer-owned, and third-party inventory onsite.

    + Support multiple customers in a geographic area.

    + Utilize VWR and basic customer computer systems such as ESS Citrix, Info Access, Intranet StockTracker, ChemSW, and customer-specific ERP systems.

    + Meet goals and objectives for safety performance and quality.

    + Document SPI Requests.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + 2-4 years of equivalent experience in material handling, inventory replenishment, or customer service.

    + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Work and Excel.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
