    *D.R. Horton, Inc*. is currently looking for a *_Contracts Attorney_* for their Legal Department. The right candidate will review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, collaborate with various departments, provide advice on contract matters, and help streamline the contracting process.

    *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

    * Drafting and reviewing contracts including professional services agreements, contractor agreements, purchase agreements, and other legal documents

    * Negotiating contract terms with vendors and other parties

    * Providing legal advice to the company on contract interpretation and obligations

    * Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

    * Identifying and mitigating potential legal risks within contractual agreements

    * Maintaining organized records of contracts and related documents

    * Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary information for contract negotiation and development

    * Updating contractual policies and procedures as needed to align with current laws

    * Conducting legal research to support contract negotiations and development

    *Education and/or Experience* * *

    o Juris Doctorate degree (J. D.).

    o Active Bar license.
