Description of Job
This position is a hybrid position.
The employee will work on site until trained, then the schedule will be on site on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The hybrid schedule is subject to change to meet business needs.
The purpose of this position is to provide data management and system support for State Fleet Management Systems and Resources for Fleet customers.
+ The person in this position will support area functional specialists with data documentation, system issues, access requests, and system testing as needed.
+ This position will coordinate training to assist end users with the functionality in CARS, Geotab, ChargePoint, and any new State Fleet Management Systems.
+ This position will track training deficiencies as identified from support tickets and will inform management of ongoing training needs, as system processes and functionality will change once additional data has been analyzed.
+ This position will maintain content on both the SFM Website and Knowledge Base and identify areas in which information is non-existent or inadequate and recommend an appropriate solution.
A summary of the duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
SFM System(s) Support and Backup
This position will gain a comprehensive understanding of Fleet systems and perform backup duties for the following area functional specialists: the Telematics SME, the Transportation Fuels SME, and the Application Administrator.
+ As the backup for the Telematics SME, this person will learn the telematics system functionality, currently Geotab, as well as gain a comprehensive understanding of the data collected by the telematics device.
+ As the backup for the Transportation Fuels SME, this person will learn to process fuel reimbursements. As fleet electrification is a focus for the State of Colorado, this person will gain a comprehensive understanding of electric charging data from a variety of systems (currently CARS, Geotab, ChargePoint, and WEX).
+ As the backup for the Application Administrator, the person in this role will have a thorough understanding of the structure of the SFM fleet management system, CARS, and will perform support and backup duties for the Application Administrator.
+ In all the above areas, this person will collaborate with functional specialists to identify and resolve system issues (working in coordination with State OIT or third-party vendors as needed), perform system testing, and notify end-users of upcoming system updates.
+ Additionally, this position will work with functional specialists to create end-user documentation, such as job aids and frequently asked questions (FAQs), while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the data presented.
SFM System(s) User Support and Documentation
+ Serves as the first level (Tier 1) analyst on the SFM System(s) and monitors the shared email account for the SFM Support team.
+ Be the first point of contact for SFM end users who are experiencing system problems, and provide resolution of basic problems, as well as ticket establishment and routing of inquiries to appropriate functional areas, other system experts, or management. Coordinate and expedite SFM Support Center calls and e-mails from SFM users.
+ On an ongoing basis, collaborate with management to ensure ticket creation and assignment are consistent and appropriate.
+ Notify team management of widespread or business-critical service issues when they occur, and assist with documentation and follow-up with all parties in those instances
SFM User Training
+ This position presents or co-presents end-user training for both State Fleet personnel and Fleet Coordinators in agencies throughout Colorado.
+ This position uses data trends and end-user feedback to identify areas in which training would be beneficial and provides recommendations to SFM Management.
+ This position collaborates with SFM Support Team Manager to determine upcoming training offering schedules and distribution methods. Research relevant, available training material from the appropriate vendor to meet determined needs and collaborates with functional specialists to modify or create training material (job aids, frequently asked questions (FAQs), PowerPoints, Videos).
+ Coordinates the delivery of training with SFM Management, utilizing existing meeting platforms or other methods as appropriate.
SFM Resource and Content Maintenance and Improvement
+ This position will identify outdated content on the SFM website, Help Desk, or other platforms and make recommendations for improvement, including the need for them to be Accessibility Compliant.
+ This position has experience working with a variety of software (Microsoft Office, Google Applications, PowerPoint, SnagIt, Diagrams.net, Adobe Acrobat, etc.), and can think outside the box to provide innovative, efficient solutions to improve existing content or resources.
+ This position will update existing or create new articles on the SFM Help Desk following the Fleet Application and Support team standards while also evaluating existing content to prevent duplicates as well as verify that the search function remains effective.
+ This position will frequently review published forms and documents, identify any that can be remediated for Accessibility Compliance, and update them with current information.
+ This position will review the SFM website and recommend format/webpage changes or updates based on traffic flow and topics.

Experience Only:
At least five (5) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to data management, data analytics, business analytics, economics, mathematics, statistics, or closely related experience such as Access, Excel, extracting, compiling, and interpreting data for reporting and analyses.

Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to data management, data analytics, business analytics, economics, mathematics, statistics, or closely related experience such as Access, Excel, extracting, compiling, and interpreting data for reporting and analyses equal to at lease five (5) years.
The exceptional candidate will possess the proven ability or accomplishment in the following preferred qualifications:
+ Previous State Service related to the work assigned to the position
+ Microsoft Excel - intermediate level
+ Familiarity with relational database concepts and experience with Microsoft Access & SQL
+ High level of attention to detail
+ A combination of experience in the following areas: technical, communication, presenting, instruction, and literacy.

Comparative Analysis Process
The comparative analysis process for this position may consist of a structured application review, an online assessment and a structured interview.
