    Manager, Shopper Marketing Walmart & Club (Seasons + Everyday) Pay Level: 2B Location: Bentonville, AR (Hybrid) ROLE SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for the development and execution of the Omni Shopper Marketing tentpole programming calendar for Walmart & Club for both the Seasonal (VAL, EAS, HWN, HOL) and Everyday businesses. This manager will partner with the Walmart and Club Sales Teams, Digital Marketing team and leadership to drive top and bottom-line growth by delivering best-in-class Omni marketing shopper strategy. This individual will be responsible for delivering the annual plan as well as out-year plans to maximize demand and drive growth and will be fully responsible for executing in-store activation which is a critical component of the overall Omni 360 go to market strategy This position is internally and externally facing, serving as the key partner with Hershey’s Brand Equity & Activation Team, the Sales teams, and Category Management teams. Externally, this position is responsible for building strong sustainable relationships with Walmart & Club Marketing, Merchants, and Agency partners to further establish Hershey as a leader in the shopper marketing space. The Manager, Shopper Marketing Walmart & Club must be effective at: · Developing and presenting recommendations to senior management and customer leadership · Superior strategic planning and periodic re-planning on the business · External and internal assessments of the business environment and competitors, leveraging analytical skills to understand drivers of growth/decline and develop data driven recommendations that translate into demand generation · Demonstrated strength in leadership skills to drive coordination with other functional areas including sales, category management and human insights teams to drive merchandising, marketing, and promotions, and collaboration with the digital marketing team to ensure that in-store plans are encompassing in the 360 omnichannel marketing · Demonstrated accountability for sales and financial results · Strong verbal and written communicator to wide breadth of audiences · Expertise in marketing inclusive of agency management, creative development of programs, in-store execution, digital marketing and development of big ideas · Partners with various leads in the office to support beneficiary events/engagements in the local community · Responsibility of overseeing the DME budget by partnering with marketing operations to ensure budget is allocated accordingly to meet quarterly/yearly plans QUALIFICATIONS: · Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required · Experience: 5+ years of experience in brand/shopper marketing with CPG background · Walmart Connect and MAP experience preferred · Digital Marketing experience preferred · Customer facing experience working with Walmart/Club is preferred · Proficiency: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Luminate. Clear communication & power of storytelling skills are required · Ability to travel up to 15% of the time KEY CRITERIA: · Self-Starter – ability to identify and prioritize issues and opportunities and develop proposed solutions with limited guidance · Ability to Influence – capable of crafting and delivering the story to rally key internal and customer stakeholders to implement solutions that drive business results · Marketing Expertise – experience working with agency partners, shopper marketing, insights, digital commerce and media; brand management preferred · Leadership Experience – proven ability to work cross-functionally to dramatically impact business results (both top and bottom-line) · Data & Analytics – strong analytical skills to seek to understand drivers of growth/decline, monitor the business, and develop data driven recommendations The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
