Job Title: Behavior Technician – Special Education

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Contract Length: 36 Weeks

Compensation: $875 Gross Weekly Pay

About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We’re looking for a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team in Appleton, WI. In this role, you’ll provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support to special education students, helping them build positive behaviors, social skills, and academic success.

Responsibilities

+ Provide direct 1:1 and small group behavioral support to students with special needs

+ Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and support IEP goals

+ Collect and document data on student behavior and progress

+ Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff

+ Assist in adapting classroom materials and activities

+ Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

+ Participate in team meetings and professional development

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ Experience working with individuals with special needs

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills

+ Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in a school or special education setting

+ Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
