Summary You will serve as a TOOLS & PARTS ATTENDANT LEADER in the FLEET READINESS CENTER MID ATLANTIC AIRCRAFT DEPARTMENT, FACILITY & INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT DIVISION, TRANSPORTATON & TOOL BRANCH of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA. Responsibilities You will identify required training needs in tools and parts attendants and hazardous waste disposer personnel. You will prepare reports and written requests utilizing existing software and systems. You will effectively communicate to mitigate disagreements or disruptive communications within the work center. You will maintain compliance with calibration requirements and with IMRL manager requirements. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION 1) Performing aircraft tooling repair, tool issue and control, inventory management and organization concepts to position Megacenter resources for the production schedule; 2) Maintaining tools, timely inventory data, tools standards compliance, support equipment inventory, IMRL inventory, hazardous material inventory to support production workload requirements; 3) Demonstrating and training other employees in the proper work methods, and answering employees question regarding tasking; and 4) Preparing oral and written reports by utilizing existing systems using tool management terminology. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
