THE ROLE
The landscape of women's sports is undergoing a significant transformation, marked by increasing popularity, viewership, and most importantly, burgeoning commercial opportunities for corporate and brand partnerships. In 2024, global revenue generated by professional women’s sports exceeded $1 billion, signaling a promising new era for women’s sports properties. The focus now moves beyond demonstrating potential to helping build a lasting legacy of success by delivering unique and tailored solutions. As the leader in global partnerships, Legends has created this exciting new role to focus specifically on the development of corporate and brand partnerships for our women’s sports properties portfolio.
The Vice President, Global Partnerships will be an advocate for the growth of women’s sports that will spearhead the development and execution of substantial, high-impact partnerships for our growing portfolio of women’s sports properties, with a dedicated focus on Sixth Street owned Bay FC (NWSL) in 2025 and expanding to other marquee Legends Women’s Sports clients in 2026 and beyond. At Legends, we are dedicated to creating business solutions that meet the urgency and objectives of both our clients and their corporate partners. Building a deep understanding of brand objectives that align with the vision of our clients is essential. The Vice President will lead complex negotiations with senior decision-makers, fostering meaningful partnerships that contribute long-term value. A strong collaborator that is focused on revenue growth expansion is critical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Function as both a strategic visionary and an individual contributor, crafting and implementing comprehensive go-to-market strategies that capitalize on both immediate opportunities and long-term brand alignment.
+ Develop and oversee a sophisticated prospecting and outreach plan, targeting potential partners at regional, national, and global levels to drive interest and secure impactful partnerships.
+ Leverage a robust network and maintain high-level relationships with C-suite executives across industries, proactively identifying and cultivating new partnership opportunities to enhance each client’s market position.
+ Collaborate closely with clients and Legends executive leadership to align partnership strategies with broader organizational goals, ensuring consistent messaging and integrated marketing efforts.
+ Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to design, plan, and execute strategic partnership activations, delivering measurable value and brand impact.
+ Optimize sales processes and tools in collaboration with the Legends Global Partnerships Team, enhancing CRM utilization and internal communication to drive efficiency in the partnership cycle.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, or premium sales, with a proven history of negotiating and closing substantial, multi-year partnerships.
Skills and Abilities
+ Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with direct management responsibilities, including team building and mentorship.
+ Strong, established relationships with senior executives at major corporations, particularly those managing national or global sponsorship portfolios.
+ Ability to inspire and guide a team to consistently achieve revenue and partnership goals, fostering a high-performance, team-oriented culture.
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives that showcase partnership value and align with client objectives.
+ Proven track record in designing and executing strategic marketing platforms that create brand synergy and long-term value.
+ High emotional intelligence and adaptability, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
COMPENSATION
Competitive salary between $140k-$200k, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
