+ In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time.
+ To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
+ We are seeking Systems Engineer II to join our Engineering team at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the role of Integration & Deployment Engineer.
+ In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions
+ The Integration & Deployment Engineer performs assignments involving complex software and hardware subsystems and resolves identified conflicting issues.
What You Will Do
+ This role participates in a complex program, which includes establishing methods and techniques, planning and writing integration procedures/sequences and reports, and conducting tests utilizing comprehensive knowledge of these complex subsystems.
+ The engineer is also involved with test automation and deployment of software, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various platforms.
+ The engineer utilizes a broad knowledge of precedents in integration engineering and applies an understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
+ Perform systems integration and deployment tasks for various projects.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve advanced software issues.
+ Develop and maintain automation scripts using Chef.
+ Utilize Ansible for configuration management and deployment tasks.
+ Write and maintain code in Python and Ruby to automate workflows.
+ Deploy software efficiently and effectively across different environments.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
+ Document processes and provide technical support as needed.
+ Work in an Agile program environment.
+ Work in a classified lab on site at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience.
+ Experience in systems integration and deployment.
+ Expertise in automation tools, specifically Chef.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
+ Experience troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems.
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
+ Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations).
+ Experience with Ansible, Python, and Ruby, Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Experience in Test Automation.
+ Experience with Raytheon Eclipse or Raytheon Equinox, Experience with Linux operating system.
+ 3 years’ experience with a Master's degree in STEM.

Colorado Springs, CO
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
