Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Network Engineer** to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Monitors and measures activity and performance of a commercial telecom/IP network.

+ Collects, interprets, and reports network data and individual customer performance data to provide statistics for billing.

+ Develops applications and programs in C, C++, and JAVA, as well as programs/scripts in PERL, AWK, and SED.

+ Technical knowledge includes an in-depth understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, ATM, and frame relay.

+ Must also be knowledgeable of network management tools such as HPOV, Netcool, and Nerve Center; web development tools including CGI, HTML, and Active Server Pages (ASP); and operating systems such as Solaris and Windows NT.

+ Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.

+ Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

+ Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative.

+ Works under consultative direction toward predetermining long-range targets.

+ Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.

+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

+ Bachelor’s degree and typically 10+ years of related professional experience. An advanced degree may be preferred at this level.

+ Must possess TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly

Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph
