POSITION PURPOSE:

The Janitor role in the company is responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance cleaning of interior buildings/facilities/lobby’s office areas, restrooms and all areas determined by contract or assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Restock locker rooms with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) products.

+ Perform GMP cleaning when it is required

+ Clean and sanitize bathrooms in the locker rooms.

+ Ensure cleanliness of the locker room and surrounding areas.

+ Take out trash and manage recycling within the facility.

+ Restock GMP products in various facility locations.

+ Restock clean room suites with necessary supplies.

+ Adhere to all safety and cleanliness protocols, ensuring compliance with GMP and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards.

+ All other duties as defined by supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

+ Strong work ethic and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.

+ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

+ Good communication skills.

+ Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus but not required.

+ Responsible for any emergency cleaning occurring during shift.

+ Ability to identify and resolve areas of conflict or concerns. Report to shift supervisor any items needed to be completed by next shift.

+ Notify supervisor of any discrepancies in the overall condition of the environment, ie., leaking faucet, broken pipe, crack in wall or glass, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities:

+ Stand

+ Walk

+ Lift/Climb

+ Talk/Hear

+ Use hands to finger, handle or feel.

+ Reach with hands or arms.

+ The Weight or Force requirement in this position is: Up to 40 pounds.

+ Loud environments (examples: metal can manufacturing department, large earth-moving equipment)
