    Chemical Operator B

    Key Responsibilities but limited to:

    + Must follow all safety rules, regulations, operating procedures, and corporate/plant policies

    + Wear powered air purifying respirator as needed

    + Be able to lift 50 pounds

    + Ability to go up and down stairs

    + Safely operate an industrial truck lift

    + Compounding and staging of raw materials

    + Blending of chemicals and powders

    + Monitoring mixers during the mixing and reaction

    + Use of distributed control systems to control and monitor process

    + Labeling and filling containers with product

    + Take samples of powder and liquids to ensure product quality, stage empty containers, maintain satisfactory housekeeping standards, and prepare equipment for maintence

    + Safely handling industrial chemicals

    + Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment. Including chemical suit, respirator, face shield, googles, gloves and hard hat

    + Complete shop floor paperwork

    + Use of MRP system

    + Participate in company safety meetings and trainings

    + Assist in shipping and receiving

    Qualifications:

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Must be safety conscious

    + Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience

    + Must be able to use computer

    + Be willing to work any shift

    + strong work ethic

    + Good communication skills

    + Ability to work with others
