**Duties:** Interact with Product Management and business users to develop new features/applications and enhance functionality and efficiencies of the existing applications. Collaborate with fellow developers to share best practices, review logic, and learn new technologies. Work with number of different database systems as well as business processes within an environment that utilizes Windows, Linux, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, .NET, Java, IIS, and WebSphere. Provide production support, maintenance, and enhancements of applications supporting Mutual Fund Trading and Clearing business. Collaborate with the development teams and technology leaders across Schwab technology on product development, best practices, and automation. Assess and apply emerging technologies, practices, and processes, and strategize and execute projects to improve efficiency and innovation. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

What you have

**Job Requirements:** Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Computer Science, or related and 36 months of experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following: Micro services using .Net technologies including C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server with OAuth or CSK3 or SAML for application security; Backend process using MongoDB; Backend process utilizing Aerospike datastore; Frontend Development experience using Angular 4+; Coding using SOLID principles, and designing GoF patterns in micro services and Cloud Native Architecture implementation; Real-time event-based processing and messaging using IBM MQ, and RabbitMQ and, Kafka; and Develop CI-CD pipelines using JENKINS or Bamboo with Unit Test coverage, Linting, and SonarQube.

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
