Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Warehouse Operations is responsible for providing strategic input and tactical execution of the CDC/CSC Supply Chain Operations in support of multi-hospital Division(s) (50+ facilities). This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations functions for shipping, customer service, training, production, warehouse location maintenance, setup, product slotting, GSO, all other inventory control responsibilities as assigned, inventory functions including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping and transportation as it pertains to Inventory Management and troubleshooting, put-away and replenishment. The role is also responsible for ensuring the success of all hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and evaluation of all associated warehouse employees. This individual is responsible for building strategic relationships and ongoing alliances with key hospital and Division(s) C-suite leaders and other stakeholders.

What you will do:

+ Manage the supply chain performance metrics to ensure operational performance goals are met throughout the division.

+ Identify, partner and drive continuous improvement within supply chain operations based on results of operating and financial performance indicators.

+ Support Supply Chain leadership in minimizing overall costs and maximizing the savings and benefits attributable to implementation of the supply chain business plan.

+ Identify and develop future strategic plans associated with the Company’s / Division’s warehousing, inventory functions.

+ Ensure consistent implementation of the RDC operating platform, which includes, warehousing, transportation, and coordination with Accounts Payable in both a centralized and decentralized environment.

+ Responsible for ensuring the consistent operations of warehouse, transportation and distribution.

+ Assist in preparation of annual warehouse operation budget.

+ Maintain operating expenses based on an annual operating budget.

+ Meets regularly with Healthtrust ITG, Vendors, Division and Facility Senior Leadership and provides Division, Facility and Companywide strategy related to the fulfillment operations.

+ Assist in inventory management as needed, including Bulk Buys, min/max analysis and physical inventory.

What you will need:

+ Bachelor’s Degree required

+ Master’s Degree preferred

+ 5 years high level warehouse operations management required

+ Multi-Facility experience preferred

+ Experience in healthcare distribution preferred
