    What you’ll do as a Director of Construction Operations

     

    + Integrate Safety Practices and Quality Standards across all Operational Activities

    + Support/Direct/Monitor/Lead Project Management and Construction Operations for multiple offices or markets as assigned.

    + Execute assigned projects on time and under budget, to our customer’s satisfaction.

    + Develop and implement effective construction management strategies and drive profitable growth.

    + Implement construction activity to increase productivity and project delivery goals.

    + Ensure high levels of performance.

    + Ensure customer satisfaction.

    + Manage subcontracting resources, with accountability for subcontracting compliance and quality of work performed.

    + Perform any other job duties associated with a senior leadership role as assigned.

     

    What you’ll need

     

    + To be 18 years of age or older

    + Authorization to work in the United States for this company

    + 12 years of construction management experience, preferably in telecommunications

    + Successfully led construction, engineering and business functions at a high growth telecommunications company

    + Consistent record of accomplishment within a leadership role

    + Proven skill in developing and coaching team members to maximize their capabilities and skill

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or relevant career field

    + Must be willing to travel domestically 50-75% of time

     

    Physical abilities & exposures

     

    + Routinely:W ork alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, use keyboard and mouse

    + Occasionally: U se portable ladder, work in confined spaces and climb stairs
