    As a **Security Officer - Armed Energy Patrol** in **Wilmington, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

     

    As a Patrol Armed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your role is essential in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors within the facility.

    Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    Day** **Time

     

    Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.

    + Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behavior.

    + Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.

    + Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.

    + Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities when appropriate.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must have at least 2 years of security experience.

    + Must have a combined total of at least 3 years of law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.

    + Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or possess an equivalent qualification.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet AU driver policy requirements.

    + Must hold a valid Corrections Officer License.

    + Must hold a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
