Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Housekeeping | Floor Care Attendant FT for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

To clean and maintain all carpets and hard surfaces in public, guest and associate areas, in accordance with Omni Standards.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.

+ Shampoo and spot clean all hotel carpeted areas.

+ Wax, buff, polish, strip and dust hard surfaces such as wood, tile and laminate

+ Safe use of chemicals to clean and disinfect flooring (both carpeting and hard surfaces)

+ Operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as a high speed buffer, extractor, wet-vac, pressure washer, auto scrubber, etc

Qualifications

+ Previous Housekeeping experience is preferred.

+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Must be 21 years of age and comfortable operating company vehicle

+ Must have a Texas license in good standing with no moving violations within the last two years.

+ Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

+ Must have a minimum of 1 year experience commercially cleaning carpets and cleaning hard floor surfaces

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift.

+ Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Must be able to climb stairs. Requires repetitive motion.

Working Environment:

+ Interior of hotel with daily travel around property.

+ Exposure to hazardous chemicals.

Tools & Equipment:

+ Cleaning supplies

+ Personal protective equipment

+ Radio
