JOB SUMMARY Manage all aspects of Blessing Health System web content development for Blessing Health System entities, specific service line initiatives, and centrally controlled web pages; including web page development, content writing, updating and maintenance in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Serve as liaison to coordinate Health System Intranet content development. Work with technical support staff and Information Systems to resolve technical production issues. Also assist with audio/video editing, production for Health System requests. Manage website statistics and analysis.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Missions of Blessing Health Systems. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required Support Marketing and PR strategic goals through effective Internet communications tactics.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

+ Degree in Communications, Information Science/Design, Computer Science, Computer/Creative Design or related discipline

+ Experience in website development and/or content management systems

+ Experience in content writing and editing

+ Experience in basic production and scripting tools (HTML, Photoshop, Acrobat)

+ Good sense of web design, functionality & usability

Special Characteristics:

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

+ Excellent communications skills

+ Exceptional organizational skills

PREFERRED:

+ Previous experience in healthcare-related business

+ Experience in basic production and scripting tools (Premiere, Illustrator, Director/Shockwave, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash)

+ Light programming skills desirable (i.e. Java, Visual Basic, ASP, Cold Fusion, CGI, Perl)
