    Position Overview

    Davey Tree is a leader in arboricultural and landscape services throughout the US and Canada. Our Corporate Office is seeking qualified candidates for Utility Billing Specialist positions.

     

    Purpose and Functional Scope: The position is responsible for maintaining customers, setting up contracts, billing rates, data entry, balancing payroll hours, customer billing and other daily duties. This position supports the accuracy of customer billing information and accounts receivable. This position does not have direct reports.

    Job Duties

    + Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to customers

    + Daily/weekly entry of employee timesheets

    + Balancing of weekly payroll hours

    + Daily/weekly entry of customer billing

    + Submission of invoicing into customer billing portal

    + Tracking and action of incoming requests via Zendesk ticketing system

    + Research invoice discrepancies and resolve as necessary

    + Participate in customer meetings regarding billing processes, procedures and scorecard metrics

    + Regular communications with field operations

    + Maintain accurate billing support documentation

    Qualifications

    + One to Three years customer service or customer facing experience preferred

    + Building positive relationships

    + Attention to detail and accuracy are critical

    + High volume data entry

    + Work under supervisor

    + A positive approach and willingness to learn coupled with the ability to work in a team environment

    + Abilility to multitask

    + Good written communication skills

    + Adherence to weekly and monthly deadlines

    + Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Work, and Access)

     

    Additional Information

     

    Full time position working four 10 hour days. Pay level based on qualifications and experience. Davey offers competitive wages, excellent benefits and F/T positions include option to buy Company stock after 6 months.
