    We’re looking for an amazing Senior Data Architect to fill this role. This is a hybrid, in-office role. You’ll work in person at our Seattle Office Tuesday to Thursday each week. You’ll be responsible for responsible for strategic design, implementation, administration, and maintenance to CRM, Marketing Technology, Data Quality, data warehouse, data pipelines and Business Intelligence. This role will typically be challenged with executing agreed development pace while maintaining strict SLA standards.

     

    Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Senior Data Architect. Is this you?

    Responsibilities

    + Evaluate business requirements to determine the most appropriate technical architecture and design patterns

    + Design, create proof-of-concept, and implement high-performance, scalable data architecture and distributed applications design.

    + Lead and assist DevOps engineers in maintaining the CI/CD pipelines, setting up system monitoring, and performing application server and Snowflake administration.

    + Lead and assist the engineering team in implementing security best practices, optimizing performance, and setting up the data integrity processes.

    + Create architecture and design documentation, and present it to the project and architecture review board.

    + Support the implementation of software upgrades for CRM, MarTech, data, and BI platforms.

    + Assist CRM, Marketing Technology, Data Engineering, BI managers, and Scrum masters in breaking down projects into Jira tickets.

    + Support change management, compliance tasks like SOX, GDPR, and CCPA.

    Requirements

    + 7 years of Data, Application architecture, and administration

    + 5 years of Administration and development experience in data warehousing and data engineering

    + 3 years of experience in AWS and Snowflake

    + 5 years of experience in Software engineering and development lifecycle

    + 5 years of experience with a relational database like Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, MySQL, Teradata or Netezza

    + Experience in Azure and OCI preferred

    + Experience in CRM systems like Salesforce and Siebel preferred.

    + Experience in Marketing technology tools and Customer Data Platforms preferred

    + Proficiency using SQL or stored procedure programming.

    + Proficiency using Snowflake.

    + Proficiency in cloud concepts.

    + Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse organizations and teams.

    + Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.

    + Strong oral and written communication skills

    + Base Salary Range: $124,600 to $168,200. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
