    **Banner Childrens Specialists (BCS)** is seeking a part-time Pediatric Neurosurgery PA or NP to join our growing program in the Phoenix Metro Area with a pediatric population of 350,000+. We are seeking a candidate to join our growing team performing a wide range of cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in working in a high-volume environment with opportunities for growth. Our Pediatric Neurosurgery team currently consists of two Pediatric Neurosurgeons who work closely with other Pediatric Subspecialties such as Neurology, Neuropsychology, General Surgery, and Developmental Pediatrics.

    Position Details:

    + Part-Time; 2-3 days/week, working Wednesdays-Fridays; No Call

    + Located primarily at Banner Desert Medical Center, some coverage at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center also required

    + Mix of Inpatient, Outpatient, and First Assisting in the OR

    + Strong Organizational Support

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + NCCPA Certification or NP w/ RNFA certification

    + AZ license and DEA or ability to obtain

    + New grads and experienced providers encouraged to apply

    Serving a pediatric population of 350,000+, **Banner Childrens at Desert (BDMC) in Mesa** is a state-of-the-art, 206-bed childrens hospital that was opened in November 2009.Banner Children's at Desert was designed Through the Eyes of a Child, meaning it has all the comforts of home and does not feel institutional. The hospital is meant to inspire healing, learning and imagination. Our Child Life professionals play an active role in ensuring children feel safe and prepared for the hospital experience. Non-procedure zones, such as the Forever Young Zone, Sophies Place, and the Big Outside, are used for music and play therapy as well as for respite and relaxation.

     

    **Banner Childrens at Thunderbird (BTMC) in Glendale** is a state-of-the-art,890,000-square-foot acute-care facility is on 33 acres on the southwest corner of 55th Avenue and Thunderbird Road in Glendale, Arizona.
