Job Description:

US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

+ Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.

+ Maintains the integrity and security of systems.

+ As required, supports users with completing requests for deployment of new services.

+ Maintains system documentation

+ Provides desk side support to users and evaluates vendor products.

+ Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

+ Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

+ May program in an administrative language.

+ Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.

+ Provides advice and training to end-users.

+ Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

+ Participates in special projects as required.

+ Adheres to the principles, methods, and techniques used in system administration and support.

+ Maintains/enhances knowledge of related hardware and software.

+ May require professional certification in one or more specific technologies, depending on job assignment.

+ Will occasionally be required to perform networks, DTS, information assurance and logistics duties.

+ May be required to work outside of “normal” work hours to include weekends and holidays..

+ Participates in special projects as required.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical

+ 10+ years of directly related experience in systems engineering and analysis

+ Must possess and maintain a US **Top Secret/SCI** Security Clearance.

+ Must have a valid passport for international travel.

+ Must be able to speak **conversational Spanish** .

+ Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in system administration and support

+ Experience with user, administrative and service account creation, and management.

+ Experience with Server STIGs, patching, Tenable, ACAS, SCCM, and IAVA vulnerabilities.

+ Experience with Group Policy, and Windows PowerShell.

+ Experience with Multiple OS’ and Scripting Languages

+ Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of related hardware and software

+ Must meet 8570.1 **IAT Level 2** certification requirements

+ May require professional certification in one or more specific technologies, depending on job assignment

+ Windows 10 Certification within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with the principles, methods, and techniques used in Microsoft Server 2016 administration, troubleshooting and support.

+ Experience with Server STIGs, patching, testing, security controls, Tenable, ACAS, SCCM/WSUS, and IAVA vulnerabilities.

+ Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows PowerShell.

+ Experience with, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, and Chat technologies.

+ Experience with VMWare vCenter, VMware Horizon VDI, and other virtualization technologies.

+ Experience with managing, monitoring, and responding to key server infrastructure alerts.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,614 - $144,900. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
