    Senior Corporate Training and Development Specialist

     

    Our award-winning corporate university is seeking a **Senior Corporate Training and Development Specialist** to join our collaborative team of organizational development professionals! You will coordinate and deliver enterprise-wide learning curricula to our four-service utility comprised of 2,000 employees. You will provide our talented workforce with the tools and knowledge to stay ahead of the business curve.

     

    What Else Will You be Doing?

     

    + Delivering learning curriculum to the organization, including leadership development, performance management, coaching, project management, customer service, system technology, communication, and additional organizational/professional development courses

    + Delivering and customizing development-based personality assessment courses (e.g., MBTI, DiSC, StrengthsFinder)

    + Conducting needs analyses and facilitating applicable team building and organizational development courses to close identified knowledge and skill gaps

    + Designing comprehensive learning solutions to meet the desired outcomes of the training request

    + Leading organization-wide learning-oriented project teams, including managing the scope, budget, communication, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of projects and programs

    + Developing training modules and courses based on customer needs using a variety of instructional techniques and methods

    + Assessing organization-wide learning content and program needs in a collaborative effort with stakeholders

    + Evaluating training and learning effectiveness through pre- and post-training assessments and performance relative to desired and applicable outcomes - and making or recommending changes as appropriate

    + Recommending and guiding the promotion, implementation, reinforcement, and evaluation of learning solutions

    + Evaluating learning outcomes and researching trends/best practices within the industry

    Who You Are

    + Demonstrated experience in an organizational training and development capacity (i.e., experience with delivering training curriculum in a corporate learning environment)

    + Bachelor's Degree is highly valued in Education, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a closely related field

    + Possession of any of the following certifications are **_valued_** : Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), or Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD)

    + Knowledge of and experience applying adult learning theories, individual culture, learning styles, needs analysis, learning objectives, application exercises, learning assessments, and course evaluations is valued

    + Knowledge of and experience applying the competencies necessary to perform in each of the following areas: learning design, performance management, delivering training, training evaluation, project management, career planning, and talent management is valued
