If you are interested in this position, please apply online or call me directly 210-501-0761 Requirements Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Process month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals. Assist in analyzing financial results and variances by preparing detailed reports for management review. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring proper coding, approval, and timely payments or collections. Conduct regular audits of expense reports, balance sheets, and ledger entries for accuracy and compliance. Support tax preparation efforts by collaborating with external service providers and internal teams. Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations and increase efficiency by identifying gaps in existing workflows. Assist with special projects as assigned, including system implementations, internal control reviews, or acquisition accounting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.). Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly. Ability to adapt quickly, multi-task, and work autonomously in dynamic environments. Preferred Skills and Attributes detail oriented certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are a plus but not required. Experience with corporate tax filings, payroll systems, or inventory management is desirable. Familiarity with large ERP systems and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
