Description We are looking for a skilled HR/Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations, ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations, and manage employee benefits. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on time for salaried, hourly, and contract employees using Paylocity.

• Manage multi-state tax filings and ensure compliance with state-specific requirements.

• Administer employee benefits, including vacation time, health insurance, and other programs.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting for weekly payroll cycles.

• Address employee relations matters and provide support for HR-related inquiries.

• Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Oversee tax administration processes to guarantee adherence to regulations.

• Support seasonal workforce transitions and manage payroll adjustments accordingly.

• Uphold confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.

• Organize and manage HR documentation for a workforce of up to 135 employees. Requirements • Proven experience with Paylocity and payroll processing systems.

• Strong knowledge of multi-state tax regulations and compliance.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.

• Familiarity with employee benefits administration.

• Strong communication skills for managing employee relations.

• Previous experience auditing payroll data.

• Ability to adapt to seasonal workforce changes and demands.
