• Accounts Payable Accountant

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Dallas, TX)


    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will manage multi-entity accounts payable processes, handle vendor communications, and support financial reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while honing your expertise in AP accounting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process high-volume and high-value invoices on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    • Oversee weekly check runs and biweekly payment processes, addressing any payment-related needs.

    • Resolve internal account discrepancies and address issues within the Accounts Payable department.

    • Manage vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any related concerns.

    • Prepare detailed out-of-pocket expense reports and ensure timely submission.

    • Generate and submit annual 1099 forms and 571-L reports in compliance with regulations.

    • Create daily exchange rate reports and ensure accuracy for internal use.

    • Prepare invoices and billings for investors and third-party entities.

    • Collaborate with auditors during the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and support. Requirements • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, including multi-entity AP accounting.

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred.

    • Proficiency in processing high-volume invoices and managing check runs.

    • Strong skills in using accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft.

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

    • Experience with coding invoices, data entry, and account reconciliation.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve vendor and internal issues effectively.

    • Familiarity with preparing regulatory reports such as 1099s and 571-L forms.
