Description

We are looking for a skilled Attorney with expertise in consumer financial services to join our client's team in Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage-related litigation and a proven track record of managing cases effectively. This role requires exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills, along with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in consumer financial services cases, particularly those involving mortgage-related litigation.

• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.

• Manage and develop cases from inception to resolution, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client representation.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal advice.

• Appear in federal and state courts to advocate on behalf of clients.

• Maintain accurate and organized case files using case management software.

• Work effectively under pressure to deliver high-quality results within tight timeframes.

• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting consumer financial services.

• Review and analyze legal documents to identify key issues and formulate strategies.

Requirements • Admission to the Michigan Bar is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer financial services law.

• Proven expertise in mortgage-related litigation.

• Strong skills in drafting and arguing legal motions and pleadings.

• Familiarity with federal and local state court procedures.

• Proficiency in legal tools such as case management and document management software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
