    Position Overview

    The Sourcing Specialist – Walk-In Box & Signage Bid Programs plays a critical role in supporting the procurement lifecycle for refrigeration and branding infrastructure in new builds and remodels. This includes overseeing the bid management and order placement for walk-in refrigeration units and branded signage. This role supports national and regional bid programs by ensuring supplier alignment, price accuracy, timely project execution, and effective communication across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate must be a motivated team player that has an elevated attention to detail, organization, service, communication, and developing strong working relationships.

     

    Restaurant Solutions has procurement and supply chain responsibilities for indirect products and services, such as kitchen equipment, smallwares, custom fabrication, distribution, and consolidation programs, construction materials, furnishings, lighting, signs, and store-level services. The Sourcing Specialist will report directly to the Senior Category Manager, Restaurant Solutions NDCP; this position is located in Duluth, GA.

    Responsibilities

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Review architectural plans and translate them into standardized Excel bid templates.

    + Distribute bid packages to approved suppliers, consolidate quotes into comparative summaries, and coordinate award decisions with franchisees.

    + Facilitate communication between franchisees and awarded suppliers to initiate fulfillment and ensure project execution.

    + Oversee initial setup and ongoing maintenance of pricing, item, and supplier data in relevant systems.

    + Coordinate with NDCP Transportation to determine optimal delivery terms, freight rates, and class.

    + Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve pricing discrepancies in a timely manner.

    + Communicate price changes promptly to Category Management, Inventory, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.

    + Administer supplier contracts, including eSignature routing, supplier communication, and record maintenance.

    + Track and analyze key program metrics such as quote turnaround time, win rate, price competitiveness, supplier spend, and item usage.

    + Maintain centralized tracking, dashboards, and reporting tools to support Category Management and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).

    + Act as an internal analyst, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve program effectiveness and supplier performance.

    + Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance; provide feedback and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with design, procurement, project management acrross NDCP and Inspire.

    + Engage with suppliers to secure ongoing sales data and rebate income, as required.

    + Problem-solve and resolve supplier performance issues, working closely with franchisees and internal stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Skills

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in business-related field preferred; equivalent experience in procurement or supply chain support role considered

    + 1–3 years of experience in Foodservice, Construction, Refrigeration, or Signage industries a plus

    + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

    + SAP experience preferred, Smartsheet experience a plus

    + High attention to detail and quality of work

    + Team player, service-oriented, with excellent relationship development skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task with limited supervision

    + Able to adapt to rapidly changing situations and priorities

    + Dedicated, collaborative, and proactive
