    The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $164,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

     

    This position is incentive plan eligible.

    The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

    YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

    + Managing project teams responsible for driving technical, cost, and schedule of industrial control systems development including testing, troubleshooting, operations and providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders.

    + Leading cost, schedule, and technical decisions for multi-disciplinary engineering teams of ten people or more, often needing to make rapid decisions based on ambiguous or conflicting information

    + Collaborating with program management, technical personnel, functional leadership and support organizations to drive the transition of highly specialized systems from research to engineering to manufacturing

    + Support the upgrade and ongoing sustainment of highly specialized systems in collaboration with Program Management, R&D Organization and Field Service Engineering

    + Understanding the technical requirements of a project so that you can provide guidance to the execution team and information to program manager when conflicts arise

    + Preparing and delivering internal reports on project status including, but not limited to, estimates at complete, delivery dates, risk status, and recovery plans

    + Leading the preparation, approval, and delivery of system documentation

    + Interacting with customers to identify future business opportunities and contributing to pursuit activities

    YOU MUST HAVE:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

    + Minimum 5 years of technical project leadership experience

    + U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing

    + Ability to travel up to 10%

    WE VALUE:

    + 6 to 10 years of experience in the development of control solutions that interact with industrial sensors, scientific instruments and other complex electromechanical systems.

    + Experience with earned value management and lifecycle gated milestone development

    + Experience developing and managing project plans using standard tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira)

    + Working knowledge of drafting electrical schematics, control panel drawings, bills of materials, & specification documents.

    + Demonstrated experience in software/hardware design artifacts with configuration management

    + Knowledge of equipment wiring practices and relevant codes (NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A, etc.)

    + Experience using Git for revision control of industrial control schematics and software.

    + Ability to understand business objectives and interact with our customers

    + Proactive and resourceful self-starters with ability to multi-task
