Intelligrated Services, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II for our Mason, OH

location. Plan, configure, and execute conveyor system projects for large

distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities

+ Responsible for the technical quality andeffectiveness of the mechanical design.

+ Create and verify conveyor layout, detail, air, load, structural drawings, schematics,and equipment orders as applicable to the project

+ Plan equipment layout, material flow, andmeasures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of resources and equipmenton projects as assigned

+ Work with other engineering disciplines in the development and application ofmaterial handling equipment and solutions as required in support of projectneeds.

+ Direct and coordinate building of prototypes. Confer with researchers and otherengineers to clarify and resolve problems found during execution, preparingdesign modifications as appropriate.

+ Perform a variety of calculations and prepare detailed multi-view drawings based onengineering data and standard references.

+ In the field, identify field safety concerns;confirm equipment was installed per plans; communicate design issues andimprovements with customers, site superintendents, general contractors, andinstallation crews; adjust conveyor design to accommodate for fieldinterferences.

+ Provide planning, reporting, and management of the mechanical project, in addition totechnical implementation.

+ Take full ownership of the mechanical project elements and execute (and/or delegate)individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating andforecasting mechanical resources in-house and on site.

+ Take a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, andoverall mechanical architecture and manage the scope, budget (OAs, COs), andschedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughoutthe project life cycle.

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.

+ 5 + years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.

+ Full term of experience must include:Autodesk, including AutoCAD, Vault, and Navisworks; Microsoft SharePoint,Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Oracle; forecasting multi-million-dollar projects;green field “cradle to grave” project execution; identifying engineering safetyconcerns and design improvements related to safety; and communicating designissues and improvements with customers, site superintendents,generalcontractors and installation crews.

+ Approximately 25% domestic/internationaltravel required.
