    JOB SUMMARY

    The Experienced Technical Support Professional is responsible for delivering technical support and referral information through the Honeywell WEBs support line, playing a vital role in distinguishing Honeywell WEBs in the market. You will be focused on resolving complex technical issues for users and act as a liaison between customers and engineering teams. You will drive improvements in support processes. This position involves:

     

    + Customer Support: Providing pre-sale/post-sale troubleshooting and assistance with complex equipment and software.

    + Problem Solving: Addressing situations where initial product support has failed to resolve issues, using existing tech web resources.

    + Applications Knowledge: Utilizing web and product specifications to guide users through applications involving multiple products.

    + Change Agent: Proactively seeking improvements in support processes and ensuring implementation.

     

    You will work from our Plymouth, MN office suites on a hybrid scheduled and report to the Senior Tech Support Supervisor.

     

    The annual base salary range for this position is **$69,000 - $86,200** . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

    MUST HAVE:

    + 2+ years of experience with Networks (BACnet, TCP/IP, Routers, and Switches).

    + Strong understanding of Building Automation systems.

    WE VALUE:

    + Associate's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Technology, or a related field.

    + 2+ years in the building controls industry (HVAC, BAS) with knowledge of BACnet, ModBus, LON protocols.

    + Experience with Honeywell products and Niagara Framework (minimum of 2 years).

    + Technical certifications such as Tridium Niagara AX or N4 and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) are preferred.

    + Familiarity with virtualization technologies and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) Programming is desirable.

    + Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical tools like Wireshark for packet analysis.
