    Sr. ISC Production Supervisor 1 st Shift IAL & Mechanical Metrology Labs

     

    As a Sr. ISC Production Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day production operations within the Aerospace (AERO) Strategic Business Group (SBG). You will be accountable for ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and operational efficiency is optimized. Your guidance and expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence in our manufacturing facility.

     

    You will report directly to our Sr. Quality Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location onsite primarily on a first shift schedule.

     

    In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of our operations, ensuring that production goals are achieved, and customer expectations are met. You will have the opportunity to guide a team of production operators, work with cross-functional teams, and drive operational excellence.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Oversee and manage the day-to-day production operations within the Instrument Assurance Lab

    + Ensure production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and operational efficiency is optimized

    + Directly supervise and motivate a team of Instrument Assurance Technicians and production operators to achieve production goals while maintaining a safe working environment

    + Drive productivity improvements and a culture of continuous improvements

    + Enforce compliance

    + Employee Development and Talent Management

    + Resource management in dynamic environment

    + Review quality output and coach team improvements

    + Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

    + Collaborate with customers, suppliers and cross functional teams

    + Additional duties as required

     
     

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

     

    The annual base salary range for this position is $85, 600 - $107,000 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment

    + Minimum of 3 years leading a large team in a union environment

    + Strong guidance and communication skills.

    + Microsoft 365 experience including pivot tables in Excel and PowerPoint presentations

    + Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

    WE VALUE

    + AAS of Electronics Degree, or equivalent 2 year degree, from accredited college or university

    + Experience in the aerospace industry

    + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

    + Experience with metrology and calibration

    + Six Sigma certification.

    + Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the aerospace industry.

    + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    + Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment

    + Conveys information with clarity and directness

    + Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done

    + Work instruction and/or policy and procedure review and revision

    + Team Accountability Expectations and Execution
