Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Associate – Entry-Level in the below posting location. In this role you will work with experienced engineers on site development, storm sewer/drainage design, grading, permitting, cost estimating, water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems.
Posting Location for this role: Champaign, IL
Job Activities:
+ Water distribution and sewer collection systems design
+ Storm water management and collection system layout and design
+ Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines and client consultants
+ Construction observation / resident engineering
+ Prepare permitting applications for various state and local agencies
Specific Requirements include:
+ BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
+ 0-3 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of civil engineering projects
+ Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, required
+ Stormwater Modeling experience, preferred
+ Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam
+ Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
+ Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or on track to obtain license desired

Salary Range: $66,000 - $80,000 annually (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
