Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Description
Provide regulatory research, guidance, and compliance management to assist the company in proactively managing regulatory compliance across all aspects of the business.
Responsibilities
+ Manage environmental permitting for new facilities, existing permit modifications, and renewals in the supported geographic region or operational division.
+ Support Sales, Marketing, and other departments with regulatory research and recommendations for new or expanding business segments, business acquisitions, and geographic expansion.
+ Share oversight for release response actions; must be available as necessary to provide release response coordination and assistance, and identify state and federal regulatory reporting obligations.
+ Conduct environmental incident investigations, document root-cause analyses of spills and spill response/clean-up activities, and develop appropriate corrective and preventive action plans.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of regulatory experience
+ BS degree preferred
+ Proficiency in compliance and regulatory matters
+ Familiarity with environmental protection regulations
+ Experience with EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Field experience is a plus
+ Ability to handle project-based work
+ Flexible with work schedule, starting as early as 7am or as late as 10am
Work Environment
Work in a corporate office with a team of three, splitting sites across the county. Enjoy free gym membership, including fitness classes and a golf simulator. Allowance for two work-from-home days per month. Up to 25% travel to facilities in your territory.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
