    Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer

     

    We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to assist in executing process improvements and troubleshooting processes to increase production efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will also focus on procurement and installation of new capital equipment and calculate the ROI associated with these purchases.

    Responsibilities

    + Execute process improvements to increase production efficiency.

    + Troubleshoot manufacturing processes to identify and resolve issues.

    + Procure and install new capital equipment.

    + Calculate the ROI associated with new equipment purchases.

    + Focus on tooling and plant layout.

    + Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Collaborate with production staff and other engineers to optimize manufacturing processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Lean manufacturing

    + Mechanics

    + Capital equipment installation and qualification

    + Tooling

    + Process engineering

    + Industrial engineering

    + SolidWorks

    + Six Sigma

    + 2+ years working in a manufacturing environment

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related field

    + Adaptable and flexible to work in a fast-paced, frequently changing manufacturing schedule

    + 6+ months working experience in manufacturing

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
