Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist in our production area, contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general production duties.

+ Assist machine operators and forklift drivers.

+ Feed lines and help with palletizing and staging.

+ Build pallets, apply labels and feet to each pallet.

+ Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare them to the label.

+ Ensure the production line is clear and running smoothly.

+ Stage and assemble partials.

Essential Skills

+ Manufacturing

+ Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

+ Capable of standing on feet for 12 hours a day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ years of warehouse experience.

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ International diplomas or GED accepted with proof.

Work Environment

This role is set within a manufacturing and warehouse environment, with over 50 employees working between the office and production floor. The facility is equipped with sit-down forklifts and various production lines featuring machines such as saws and slitters. Candidates will navigate through conveyor systems safely provided with walkways. The environment is open-door, with trucks frequently loading and unloading. Be prepared for temperature variations, as it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Park, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
