Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

This position is in a start-up environment, where you will be responsible for the installation, conduit, and wiring equipment inside a generator enclosure. You will need a working knowledge of basic electrical installation, including wiring AC and DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, and load centers, as well as bending and sizing conduit and wire. An understanding of current NEC codes and the ability to interpret shop drawings is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Perform repetitive full installations inside generator enclosures.

+ Run conduit and bend/install conduit, panels, transformers, switchgears, AC/DC lights, and 3-way switches.

+ Pull small and large wires and conduct QC inspections.

+ Troubleshoot and install termination/connector points to generators.

+ Connect diesel supply/return pumps.

+ Collaborate with a minimum of four electricians inside one enclosure, with potential for up to ten electricians working on different sections.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with electrical installation, conduit, troubleshooting, industrial wiring, and blueprint interpretation.

+ Proficiency in mechanical tasks, conduit bending, and conduit installation.

+ Basic wiring and termination skills, including 3-way switches, receptacles, GFCIs, lighting, and panels.

+ Ability to repair, install, and pull wire, and troubleshoot electrical systems.

+ Experience with 3-phase motors and electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of 3 years' experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman.

+ Specific industry experience or an equivalent college degree is desired.

+ State certification is preferred.

Work Environment

This role operates in an industrial environment, both indoors and outdoors. You will serve as a versatile electrician until operations are established, after which you will focus on wiring and building generator enclosures. The environment is non-temperature controlled. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Griffin, Georgia but involves travel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37444.00 - $85904.00/yr.
