    Job Title: Field Service Technician

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience servicing, repairing, or troubleshooting multi-spindle machines, 5-axis grinders, or similar electro-mechanical systems.

    + Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and control systems.

    + Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and CNC machines.

    + Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

    + Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.

    + Excellent communication skills to work effectively with customers and team members.

    + Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays, to customer sites across the nation.

    + Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment up to 50 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Siemens, Fanuc, Beckhoff, or other CNC control systems.

    + Certification in electrical or mechanical systems (e.g., Certified Maintenance Technician, Journeyman Electrician).

    + Familiarity with safety standards and regulations, such as OSHA.

    + Previous experience working for a machine tool builder or a service provider in the manufacturing industry.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

     

    Company Credit Card

    Per Diem ($51 for Travel Day, $68 for Working Day)

    3 Weeks Vacation (Accrued when they start each year, 5 Years = 4 Weeks Vacation, 10 Years = 5 Weeks Vacation)

    11 Paid Holidays

     

    Shutdown for Christmas and New Years

     

    Two Company Vehicles that can be used for travel (first come first serve)

     

    Hourly, Bi-Weekly Pay

     

    Tools/Toolbox Provided

     

    Company Uniform, Shirts, Pants, Business Cards, etc.

    This is a fully onsite position in Jackson,MI.
