**Position Overview:** We are actively seeking **Ground Workers** to assist in **underground facility installation and maintenance** . This role requires **stamina, attention to safety, and a willingness to learn** . Key Responsibilities:

• **Dig trenches** for conduit and cable installation.

• **Lay conduit, pull cables and support electrical assembly.**

• **Operate hand and power tools** safely and effectively.

• **Load and unload materials & equipment** at job sites.

•️ **Ensure safety compliance** and maintain a clean work environment.

• **Help set up and break down job sites** for efficient project completion.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

•️ **Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn**

•️ **Utility construction experience** (preferred but not required)

•️ **Ability to operate skid steer & work with underground utilities**

•️ **1+ year of outdoor physical labor experience**

•️ **Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation**

•️ **Must be insurable under company vehicle policy (clean driving record)**

Work Environment:

• **Location:** Des Moines, Iowa

• **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, with potential overtime

• **Outdoor work in various weather conditions** (heat, cold, rain)

•️ **Interaction with crew members, subcontractors, and site personnel**

• **Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and use tools safely**

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
