    Based Out of Clermont, IA

     

    Pay: $18-22/hr - PAID WEEKLY

    MULTIPLE POSITIONS OPEN

    TRAVEL 40-80% depending on job

    Job Description

    The Installation Technician will play a crucial role in installing and repairing fabric or metal buildings. This position requires extensive travel, with construction crews spending most of the time on job sites throughout Iowa, and returning home most weekends. Overnight travel is occasionally required for projects located more than two hours away, with accommodations and meal per diem provided. Crews gather at the shop in Clermont, IA, and travel to and from the job site via company truck.

    Responsibilities

    + Affix and position fabric or metal buildings in designated locations and complete the set-up process.

    + Ensure the building is installed safely, supporting functionality for optimal performance.

    + Carry materials and handle unloading without a forklift, staging necessary items.

    + Install structural components such as columns, mainframes, girts, and purlins.

    + Perform wall sheeting, insulation installation, gutter and downspout installation.

    + Install windows and doors.

    + Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order.

    + Assist with inventory management as needed.

    + Learn new skills and work effectively in a team environment with a strong sense of pride in work.

    + Exhibit punctuality, good manners, communication skills, and maintain a well-groomed appearance.

    + Comply with federal, state, and company policies and procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with hand and power tools, general labor, and construction.

    + Ability and willingness to travel 40+ weeks out of the year.

    + Proficiency in finishing, framing, and handling tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + A valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.

    + Reliable transportation to meet at the job site, shop, or centralized meeting place.

    + Basic math, writing, and communication skills.

    + Physical ability to lift, pull, and push up to 100lbs.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
