Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker, where you will operate and manage packaging machinery to ensure efficient production processes. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot will contribute to maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.

Weekend Shift

6am-7:30p F,Sat,Sun

Pay is $19.05

Responsibilities

+ Operate packaging machinery, including auto packager, cutter, and filler.

+ Set up and adjust machinery components such as hoses, blades, and film rolls.

+ Input orders and manage runs using computer systems.

+ Address and resolve machinery jams to maintain production flow.

+ Conduct quality checks on products for defects.

+ Operate machinery for filling, cutting, sealing, and packaging sauce packets and containers.

+ Connect hoses to tankers and fillers and manage the flow of materials.

+ Climb ladders to access and manage machinery at heights.

Essential Skills

+ 1 year of GMP experience.

+ 1 year of packaging experience.

+ 1 year of manufacturing experience.

+ Ability to lift 40 lbs. individually.

+ Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bilingual skills are an advantage.

+ Experience with machine operating and packaging machinery.

+ Blending and batch mixing experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

Our facility is a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled environment, emphasizing cleanliness and safety. The workspace includes various tanks, machinery, and packaging lines, offering a pleasant and aromatic atmosphere. Employees are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, non-slip boots, and adhere to GMP standards. The work schedule includes weekend shifts from 6 am to 7:30 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.85 - $18.85/hr.
