Quality Custom Distribution is NOW HIRING WAREHOUSE SELECTORS at our Riverside MO facility ($21.53/hr.)

Quality Custom Distributions is hosting a Walk-in Hiring event every Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 10AM - 1PM.

We are hiring order selectors to work on the warehouse floor. Please make sure to bring a updated resume and two forms or ID.

Job Highlights:

+ Hiring Order Selectors, and Loaders

+ This is a physical job, must be able to lift up to 70 pounds (possibly on a consistent basis)

+ $21.53/Hour Starting Pay (Can receive raises with-in your fist year)

+ 630AM Start time, associates will work 5 days on 2 days off (Will be required to work a Saturday or Sunday)

+ Will need the ability to work overtime.

+ Hours can be anywhere between 8-12 hours; associates must be able to work a full shift.

+ Dependable and Reliable on attendance and work effort.

+ This is a primary Freezer position, must be able to work in cold temps throughout the day.

+ Vocollect/ Voice Selection experience is a plus.

Work is Temperature Controlled (Freezer, Chill & Dry)

+ (All Associates will work in the Freezer and Cooler)

+ Hiring Receivers with 1 year of forklift experience, and 1 year of recent receiving experience (You will assist in picking cases and must be able to handle all physical task)

+ Hiring Order selectors to pick cases (lifting 5-70 pounds continuously and on your feet 85 percent throughout the day)

+ Must be comfortable using headsets, Walkie Voice Picking

MACHINES/TOOLS/EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE:

+ Stand-up forklifts

+ Push/pull attachment and fork extensions.

+ Battery charging station.

+ Food safety knife and small hand tools.

POSITION SUMMARY

Receives, selects, stores and loads products and/or materials. Safely operates all material handling equipment. Accurately completes all associated paperwork. Maintains clean work area consistent with company standards.

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:

1. Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, continuously picks, lifts, carries and places product into a pallet to accurately build customer orders in various temperature environments. Moves product into a trailer or storage unit, is responsible for visually inspecting incoming and outgoing warehouse products to determine acceptability for shipment and/or receiving of product.

2. Reads labels and or printing on product containers and associated documents. Counts and calculates quantity of product to verify accuracy of shipment.

3. Must be able to consistently meet company safety, accuracy and productivity standards. Steps into the driving position and uses full range of peripheral vision to operate a forklift or pallet jack in an accident free manner.

4. Uses brooms, mops and other cleaning materials (including solvents and soaps) to clean work area. Completes any other functions that may be assigned.

** Essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

** 20 % Lifts, carries and picks product

** 15 % Reads labels and associated documents and counts and calculates using math

** 20 % Inspects incoming and outgoing product

** 75 % Operates forklift and pallet jack

100% Cleans work area

- Completes any other function that may be assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications Required of this Position:

Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Possess reading and basic math skills. Physically capable of standing, walking and twisting while carrying 50 pound objects. Able to work in cold environment and experience temperature changes. HS Diploma or equivalent required. Able to work day shift, weekends, and holidays as required.
