CTG is seeking to fill a Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

**Location:** Dallas, TX

**Duration:** 12 months

Duties:

+ Develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions with a focus on long-range demand and sales forecasting.

+ Apply advanced time series forecasting techniques and machine learning algorithms to large-scale datasets.

+ Leverage distributed computing platforms such as PySpark and Databricks for data processing and model training.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics solutions into business operations.

+ Utilize cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) to manage data workflows and support MLOps practices.

+ Produce and present clear visualizations to communicate complex findings to stakeholders.

+ Continuously troubleshoot and optimize big data and machine learning workflows.

Skills:

+ Programming: Python, PySpark, SQL

+ Machine Learning & Data Processing: PySpark, Databricks, MLlib

+ Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP

+ MLOps: Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tools in a Databricks environment

+ Data Visualization: Proficiency with data visualization tools

Specialized Skills:

+ Long-range demand and sales forecasting

+ Advanced time series forecasting techniques

+ Distributed computing concepts and optimization techniques in PySpark

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

+ Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application to forecasting

+ Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems in big data environments

Experience:

+ Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a big data environment

+ Prior experience working with Databricks and cloud-based analytics solutions

+ Experience in forecasting and demand planning using advanced analytics

Education:

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
